Great Ski in/out lodge

It was a great location to the mountain and gondola. The room was plenty large enough for three separate sleeping areas. The lodge had a convenient rental shop inside it and three hot tubs and a heated pool.

Everything was perfect! The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were good in size, even the second bedroom that had a king size bed and a single bunk. The kitchen was well stoked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location, truly ski in ski out. We love the ski valet so you don't have to carry your equipment up and down the stairs. Friendly staff, clean comfortable room. We had a great time, looking forward to next time!

Happy with our accommodation/ having been coming to The Aspens for years. This unit was nicely done and well equipped. Just a tip / turn on the fridge well in advance of bookings on really hot days. We had to keep our food on ice the first day as the fridge took too long to cool down. Otherwise, great time,

We enjoyed our four night stay at the Aspen #219. The unit was supplied with everything we needed in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. We were a group of 4 and found there to be plenty of space. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tubs each day and it was a short walk down the hill to the grocery store, liquor store and to the restaurants and shops. We would recommend Portobellos in the Upper Village and The Wildflower restaurant located at the Fairmont Whistler. The Crystal Lounge in Whistler Village had an excellent special on wings daily from 12-3 and the wings were excellent! Also enjoyed the Irish Pub at the base of Whistler. The walk from the Aspens to Whistler Village was a nice stroll on the Fitzsimmons Path and was only about 10 minutes. The Aspens was definitely a ski-in/out location…the shirt walk up the hill from the Upper Village to the Aspen was a bit challenging but overall we were happy with our stay at The Aspens and would recommend it.

Our 3rd visit to Aspens for the Gran Fondo weekend. Great location, lovely suite, well maintained and very clean. Only negatives - 1.Parking is expensive 2.Our suite did not have TV coverage for the US Open final!!!!

Wonderful location. Beautiful resort. Our bedroom was crowded because a very large air conditioner took up so much room. The air conditioner was also very loud when we were trying to sleep.

This unit is ver nice! It is well planned to fit a family of up to 5 or 6 members max. It is well decorated and has the amenities needed to have a pleasant vacation, and it has view to the woods! Will definitely rent this unit again next time I'm in Whistler.

The condo we stayed in was 2 bedrooms with a kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, good dishes, coffee maker, heater for water for tea. The space was comfortable with updated furniture and comfortable beds. The valet for our equipment was convenient and the pool Jacuzzi area was nice.The ski in, ski out from the complex was amazing. Just below the lodge was a small village with restaurants, liquor store and other shopping. There are no stairs to get to the village so you walk down the hill (and up) in the snow. Maybe a little dangerous for some but we managed just fine. Staff was helpful and friendly. Overall the place was wonderful and we would stay again. Highly recommend it.

Enjoyed our time in #219. The condo is a bit tired and could use some updating but it had everything we needed. It was clean and the location was great.

Great unit, close to the elevator and you wouldn't known it. The unit has more sleeping than advertized, two kings and bunk beds. We all had enough room and enjoyed our stay very much. Convenient and close! Thank you

Fantastic stay in a great location. An easy walk/ride up from the Blackcomb Base and a 5 minute bike ride into the village. Pools/hot tubs were clean, room was clean. The only slight negative would be that the bike storage didn't feel that secure, especially the lower one which is in front of an open parking garage door and can be accessed easily by the general public.

There were 8 of us staying in the unit for 2015 Mudderella. It was very clean and exactly as described. The staff were extremely helpful in the bookings and on site. I love the Blackcomb Peaks Accommodations app that had all the information handy and in one location. There was construction going on but the staff were very communicative about that prior to our stay so we were prepared. And it did not interfere with our unit or our enjoyment of the property at all.

Needs a few maintenance issues addressed.

We've stayed at the Aspens our last few Whistler/Blackcomb summer vacations. This was our first time in suite #219. <br/>On arrival, the suite was clean and tidy. A new sectional sofa replaced the couch and chair seen in the rental photos.<br/>The suite is in a great location at the Aspens. <br/>Once settled into the suite, we identified some maintenance issues. <br/>The kitchen sink tap is very loose, making it difficult to turn off/on. <br/>The fridge has a defrost issue, causing moderate amounts of water to drip overtop of food items. <br/>The dishwasher is missing a wheel on the lover rack, causing it to fall off the track, making it difficult to use. <br/>The main bathroom toilet is loose at the floor, causing it to rock. <br/>Although these are not huge issues, they are an irritant, especially while on vacation.<br/>If these maintenance issues were addressed, we would highly recommend suite #219 <br/><br/>

While the property overall looks great and has lots of owner-added touches, there are some problems. 1 The fridge keeps going into defrost cycle, dripping lots of water over food from the freezer door down. The only way to stop it is to keep restarting the fridge by turning off and on the fuse which we had to do 4 times. Called management and left message - nothing. Used the app with Fix It form - nothing. The whole stay we had no reply from the management. 2. The dishwasher is missing one wheel on the bottom rack and it's very annoying to have the rack constantly tripping and all dishes falling over every time putting a new dish in. 3. The screen in the second bedroom has a big hole so moths fly in whenever the window is open in the evening. Since it was very hot there, the kids were boiling in that room. 4. There is no safe in the property. 5. It gets very hot so the property could really use air-conditioning as there is no good air flow even with the fans on as you're supposed to close the patio door for the night. Windows that open are small and useless. 6. The master bedroom bed is way too soft and one person moving keeps the whole bed shaking. 7. The plumbing in the master bathroom is improperly done and the tap and shower head are loose. 8. The kitchen sink door is incorrectly installed so it doesn't close. 9. The owners chose to lock almost the whole second bedroom closet, so the guests get only a small side closet. There's no place to store your luggage other than on the floor.

We love this condo. Allow very small, it is well planned out and has plenty of hooks to store coats and snow gear. My only suggestion is to improve the cookware. It was very minimal and the one large sauce pan that we had broke while when we used it the first night. Therefore we had to use it with no handle with was a little tricky. But other than that, we would recommend this unit and stay there again.

Excellent summer family get away. Unit was spacious, clean, plenty of sleeping space for family of 5 with 3 teens, extremely well stocked kitchen supplies, and enough TVs to go around. Great location to lifts and walk to village. Would definitely recommend.

On the good side the location is great and the property management company were very responsive. On the bad side there was a problem with the plumbing, both toilets were blocked together with the kitchen sink, a plumber was promptly brought in and cleared the blockages but discovered the sink basket was leaking as was the faucet and he replaced both items as well as the kitchen drain line which appeared to be an automotive rubber hose, he replaced that with the correct PVC line. The dishwasher did not work and after being attended to still worked sporadically and needs to be repaired properly or better still replaced.
