We loved this place. Ski in/out. Away from the crazy village. The hot tubs were a huge benefit. If you arrive after dark and walk to the village for dinner during winter, be prepared to walk in the snow down the slope or on non-shoveled snow on the walkway. The place is roomy, clean, and comfortable. We’ll stay here again. There’s no cooking oil or sugar so bring everything you need.

We enjoyed our stay at the Aspens (unit 234).The unit was well-maintained and well-equipped. The overall facility was good.The only minor hitch we experienced was lack of hot water (twice in 4 days). We were explained that this was due to "...pilot light going out in the central hot water system". Hopefully this problem received a sustainable solution.

We went with a group and stayed in multiple units at the Aspens. Everyone commented on how nicely decorated our unit was. The two Murphy beds were a plus too.

We had nice stay. I was looking for a place for all the teens to sleep together. The Murphy beds were great. We didn't use the pool or hot tub but it looked good and there were lots of people having fun there.

Everything about our stay was perfect.Nice location, quiet but still close enough to the village to make being around easy. The beds were very comfortable and it had everything we needed for cooking. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hottubs after our adventures. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had.

We had a fantastic time at The Aspens. We swam and hiked with the kids everyday--they loved it. The location was perfect, right at the base Blackcombe Mountain. The accommodations were lovely. Very clean and comfortable. Everything was well organized and convenient. Would definitely recommend it and we'd love to go back someday.

We had a wonderful stay in Aspens suit. The unit was very clean and cozy and we found everything we needed during our stay. The beds were comfy and we are thankful about extra linens and pillows. Hot tubs and heated pool were amazing. Communication with the property/host was great and I got my questions answered very fast. Generally we enjoyed our stay, and definitely we will choose Aspens again.

You can’t sleep on the Murphey beds! Painfully uncomfortable, apparently the mattresses are new. I didn’t notice that there’s no in suite laundry, which was a huge deal in terms of our comfort level.

A pleasant place to stay. Close enough to the village and Gondola. Clean and tidy. Useful kitchen. Only complaint is that the recliner was heavy to move in order to use the murphy bed. Hard to move around as well.

April Stay at the Aspens

I would recommend the Aspens, with a few concerns. The condo complex is about a 15 sec ski down to Wizard Express. Skis are kept in the overnight valet and are available well-before the lifts open. It was easy to ski in and out. The building was in fine shape, not updated recently, but in fine condition. The room had several clear benefits: the main bedroom was large with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also in good condition. A major plus was the main room had three beds--two murphy beds and a futon. This was great for our three teenagers. The kitchen was quite dated, which made cooking food not a great experience. But for us, when we spent so little time during the day in the condo, it was fine. Another plus was it was just a short walk to the bus stop, which took us to Whistler Village in less than 10 min.

This apartment is very comfortable and homely. We found everything we needed and especially appreciated the location right by the slopes. The stroll down (and back from) Whistler main village was easy and it was handy to be able to take the Excalibur lift back after a beer or two at the end of the skiing day.The staff at Aspens could not have been more friendly and helpful. We were four adults and we felt the apartment was ok size wise but it would have felt very cramped with 6 of us - especially with the shared bathroom. We also found it too warm and were unable to adjust the thermostat! Overall very good and we would recommend 234.

Aspens 234 was amazing. The bears in the condo were adorable. My boyfriend and I would find a new bear everyday! The place was super clean and the location was perfect for skiing. It was very close to the village - just a small walk away. It was a very cozy stay and we enjoyed using the kitchen! The use of the kitchen was great because we cooked instead of going out every night which saved us money. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub (especially after a long day of skiing). Our stay was amazing and we will definitely be coming back!

The condo unit was great for the four of us. Even though it was only a 1 bedroom, the 2 murphy beds worked well. You can't get any closer to the lifts than from the is literally ski in, ski out.

The property actually has two murphy beds as well as the couch that folds out in addition to a king sized bed. The kitchen was well equipped to include a coffee maker. Just make sure to get coffee for the first morning.

Aspens is a great complex with a perfect location for those wanting to ski/board. Great hot tubs and quiet in rooms. Amenities inside the apartment were great.<br/>The only downside of the place was the ridiculous temperature control which we couldn't get to work so we sweltered inside.

The Aspens has easy access to the Upper Village. The ski in and out was great along with the ski valet sevice. Bedroom with king bed plus two murphy beds and a futon in the living room makes this an ideal option for a small group particularly if on a budget. My main issue was the bathroom was not cleaned properly and room had a musty smell. Overall the condo is a good option given the location and the price.

We vacationed to Whistler with our 3 kids and this unit was perfect. Each kid had their own bed and the curtain separators are a brilliant idea. The unit was big enough we were able to entertain friends for dinner with plenty of space for the kids and adults to hangout. The balcony is huge ant he BBQ is an added bonus.<br/>The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked and the on site washer and dryers are big and clean. <br/>The walk to the village is approx. 5 minutes down a beautiful well lit path. Parking is available out on the road for free.<br/>I would recommend this unit to any family travelling to Whistler.

We stayed for 6 days. Room was good, did not lack much. We were 5 but there were only 4 chairs for the dining table so we had to improvise a bit. Tassimo coffee was nice touch. Murphy beds did well for the kids. We did not have room cleaning as apparently it only happens once in the middle of the stay of at least 7 days. Checkout time was a bit early, at 10am, which was not big problem for us because of jet leg. Overall, good experience and recommended.

We have rented suites in the ASPENS building for many years, in both summer and winter. Property itself is well located esp. for skiing. This suite was a BIG disappointment. It is right above the garage entrance and front roundabout so you can hear cars coming and going all night/early morning, as well as any tour buses and garbage collection. IF you can sleep through the noise, the suite itself is best suited to cram in 8 people (good use of Murphy beds and futon in front room). Trade off is you have to reorganize your room if you want to move around. Not much seating if you want to use the front room. Not great for families. Also VERY disappointed with the cleanliness. On arrival (well after check in time), suite had not been cleaned from prior guests. After waiting for housekeeping (with no apologies offered by managers or housekeepers), the cleaning was cursory: Blankets we had seen left on the floor were not washed or changed, quick wipe down of the kitchen & bathroom. dishwasher not unloaded, generally just haphazard. No follow up from the property managers although they knew of the problems. Extremely disappointing considering the holiday season, the inflated cost of accommodations and our prior (good) experiences with Blackcomb Peaks Accommodations & the Aspens.
