We loved staying at Aspens - great location for ski in/ski out and very suitable for our needs. Not fancy or high-end which made it feel more like our home away from home. I booked Suite 563 & 547 which we didn't realize was right across the hall from one another (nice surprise)! This was extremely convenient for our family for meal times, going out and about together etc. Suite 563 faced the pool and mountain which was ideal and it was great to be on the upper floor for the view. Also, very quiet for sleeping at night. The beds were very comfortable.Valet ski storage and equipment rental on site was awesome!! It was the first time we've ever had a unit with a (private) outdoor BBQ and that was outstanding! We were able to have some great meals having access to a BBQ. We typically eat in 50% and eat out 50% but its quite expensive in Whistler to eat out and we found that it was hard to get a reservation for a group of 6 while there. Most places were booked up already in advance. We simply took an earlier seating time so it all worked out.The dining room chairs in each of our suites need to be replaced ASAP. They're looking pretty bad!! The suites were great but that definitely took it down a notch.

Our stay at #563 was delightful. It was very clean, comfortable beds and we really loved the AC in the livingroom as it was very warm. The kitchen was missing a blender which we like to have but it had most everything else. The bunkbeds in the 2nd bedroom was great for our 2 grandchildren. To no fault of the condo we were disappointed with not being able to swim spontaneously while in Whilster. We had to sign up each day for a swim time at noon (which is a terrible time) when most people are out and about, not sitting aroung waiting for the pool sign up. We missed that along with the hot tub which we always love to enjoy on our trips to Whistler in the past. But overall we enjoyed our trip and #563 and would love to come up in the winter.

The unit was clean and spacious, and had a nice view of the pool. The Aspens is convenient to the gondola and within walking distance of the villages.

I give 5 stars and a Thank You! to the Blackcomb Peaks staff for ensuring upon our arrival that our unit was ready and perfect working order- very friendly and detail oriented regarding the BBQ, and TV/cable/DVD system. We appreciated the extra reusable grocery bags as well. The 4 star score is more for the bed in the master suite which is way too soft, the master bedroom window does not stay open, and the minimal choices of kitchen cooking pots and pans. Also there was a mountain bike clinic/camp that met in the courtyard/pool area around 8:15-8:30 each morning (7/8-7/11) which the camp leaders were very loud which was unnecessary and disrespectful to those staying in units above. The property is a fantastic location, with access to everything and we will likely choose the Aspens again for our next stay.

Wonderful place to stay. Perfect location for what we needed. It was a 5 minute bike ride to the lift. Condo was very clean. Building itself was quiet. We would definitely recommend it to others and if we go back we would stay here again without a doubt.

In general, the place was great. Our group rented two units over the weekend. One of the most important things in a place for me is a good night’s sleep. The Master king bed is worn and needs replacing though.

Very comfortable accommodation. Well stocked kitchen, with dishes and even foil, Saran etc. Location was great, good walking distance from main village and yet quiet, restful where we were. Best of both. Worlds. Keep it up. Would like to return on our next trip to the West coast!

Enjoyed our stay while at the Aspens! Perfect location and beautiful view of the mountains and sunset every night on our deck. The only negative was no W/D in our unit after we hiked many miles each day. Other than that.. a perfect unit!

The condo was exactly like advertised - clean, comfortable and well laid out. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils and the king sized bed was very comfortable. This is a great unit in the ultra-convenient and well-located ski in-ski out Aspens. On a high floor with mountain views and nice small terrace. Comfortable and functional furnishings. Cleaning between stays could have been better (some detritus left under the bed).

We had a wonderful time. I had one compaint about one of the bedrooms not having a second pillow. I phoned to let someone know, and was told one would be brought up to the room, but it was never brought up. Luckly I was able to call our friends, before they left their house, and they brought spare pillows.

We were satisfied overall with the condo but the bedding needs updating. Hard beds, lousy pillows. Carpet a bit stained. The kitchen was well stocked and the layout was nice. One of three hot tubs on the property was out of commission, and very busy in the remaining two. Overall, good location ski in/out and a good value.

The condo was very clean and the furnishings were adequate. The kitchen was small and somewhat dated but fine for a ski trip. My only real complaint was the noise. Not only could we hear loud screaming kids and drunk adults using the pool and hot tubs (open till 10pm but no quiet hours) but the elevator backed up to the 2nd bedroom and was noisy all night long. I think this is why it was priced lower than the other 2 br units.

Location was great for skiing, but taking a bus to get to any activity was kind of a pain. Would stay in Whistler Village if I went back and walk the few feet in the morning to the gondola.<br/>Rentals in the building was ultra-convenient, and the staff there were very friendly and accommodating. <br/>Room itself was a little smaller than pictures would indicate, and certain things were broken. Such as the shower head in the guest bathroom and the lock on the door in the master bathroom.<br/>Hot tubs were nice. Perfect temp for me, but my friends thought it could have been hotter. Was likely not even 95 degrees.<br/><br/>Overall stay was solid.

The location of the Aspens is great. You are just far enough away from the village that it's quiet, but the walk uphill isn't terrible. <br/><br/>I was disappointed with the condition of the condo. It was not clean thoroughly. There were fingerprints all over the TV and console table. The chairs were covered with what I can only hope is oatmeal. The beds were saggy and creaky.<br/><br/>If they advertise it as a family friendly place, they should provide stools for the kids to reach the sinks.

This was a great experience. This room definitely suited our needs with the queen and bunk beds in the second room. It was great having the kitchen and deck with bbq. Just a couple little things on our trip was the propane tank on the bbq was empty when we arrived and we tried calling housekeeping a couple times that evening and no luck, however, we tried the main number the next day and they quickly corrected the problem, the suite gets quite warm and they did have a fan in each room but one of them was not working. It is a great location for summer with the family, close enough to the village to walk to but nice and quiet when you need it. The Adventure Zone is right at the base of Blackcomb a big hit with the kids.

The location was fabulous with great access to the upper village. The room was a little too hot and although there were fans an air conditioner would be preferred. The layout of the room was perfect for 3 adults & 2 kids. We found the carpet was quite dirty as our 10 month old's legs, hands and knees were black after crawling around on it. Overall it was a great stay.

Be sure cleaning is done properly. I found Dorito chip under the coffee table, there was a cheerio on the floor in front of the fire place and the top of the stove was dirty. Other than that, I like the location and the hot tub. The skiing was great.

The excellent service began with the men and women managing our stray - they were organized, professional and very attentive and generous. We were a group of 7 families so were were a little chaotic. The location was perfect and also the organizers were great, but when we arrived the place really smelled of fried food and unfortunately the smell stayed for at least a day…the furniture is not the most uptodate and the tv is located in a weird spot in the living room, not central.

The barbecue needs new grills . A better fridge would be great as not very big for a group. Also screens need to be put on the windows. Safety for kids sleeping in the bunk beds ! The aspens is great for family get togethers.

These accommodations were just perfect, room was clean, well designed, easy to get to, comfortable, well priced and entirely what we wanted and needed to kick back from Iron Man competition. We left something by accident and the company even sent the item to us. Unheard of customer consideration and Service. Vacation rentals are our choice for travel accommodations. This unit was priced right, had king beds in both bedrooms and the seating was comfortable through out. It was a hot weekend but we used the stationary fans in the bedrooms. The deck had a great view of the pool and hot tubs. I found the bed comfortable and slept well. It was convenient to have a place to lock up our bikes and we were within a five minute walk to the bus loop in the village. I didn't have any personal contact with the front desk but I know that others in our party did have their requests met promptly (key for bike lock up, pool towels and fobs). I would absolutely recommend this vacation rental and would definitley stay there again. (two mid aged couples) We had a wonderful time!!!

Clean and well-equipped with a great view of the pool. Quiet area with a good selection of restaurants. I would definitely re-book again!
