We could bring three of them inside at the door for safekeeping as well. The suite was clean and had everything we needed to make breakfasts (brought our own espresso machine) and keep snacks on hand so we could save $$. The beds were comfortable with fans and there were three bathrooms. There was great access to the village and paved bike trails too. Appliances and TV etc worked perfectly and we just enjoyed some relaxed time together. Thank you!
Perfect location

Ideally situated for us being close to the restaurants and shops.and within walking distance of the Gondola yet being far enough away from the noisier bars. Great unit, Awesome location
Reviewed on 2020-08-03 by ToddVery clean and quiet corner unit. Great location to Village. AC on main floor was much appreciated. Unfortunately upstairs bedrooms were very hot even with fans that were provided. Overall a great place to stay for a Whistler vacation.

We had a few issues with not having items that were supposed to be taken care of (keys, laundry detergent), but they quickly took care of it. We had great views and the place was clean. Our only real complaint would be that we would have liked to know that the hot tub in this facility is under construction. When searching for a place to stay, we listed it as one of our criteria. The listing did not tell us that it would not be available or we would have chosen somewhere else that meet our needs/wants. Overall great experience. We loved the proximity to the grocery store and coffee shops!

Great Family Home
Reviewed on 2019-06-23 by KevirThis home was intended for four adults and an infant, but we had someone drop out and it was three adults and an infant. The beds were comfortable (wife and I loved sleeping in a king) and the A/C on the main was a great help to keep the unit from getting stuffy. We had a cleaning issue that was dealt with swiftly and with our comfort in mind. There aren't any screens on the bedroom windows, but we only had one mosquito and one crane fly come in during our three night stay. Netflix is available if you bring your own subscription. Location is across the street from the north end of the village stroll making it super convenient to walk to everything without the noise of village nightlife. While we did cook in the suite, we did not have anything appropriate to put on the barbecue available on one of the three patios. We also did not have time to use the shared hot tub. There were games on site we didn't use. My daughter enjoyed playing with the stuffies from the shelves in the living area. I would be happy to stay here again on a future visit to Whistler.

Fantastic stay with the family

We spent half of the time enyoing whistler attractions and half of the time in the house relaxing, the house was equipped with everything and everything worked, the kids and my wife loved the trip.

We enjoyed our stay and hope that we can stay again. We have a work project in whistler and so will be coming up again a few more times to complete our job. Definitely will check to see if this unit is available.

Excellent stay and service!

In the mornings we were delighted to have some nice views of Blackcomb. The spacious main floor had room for everyone, we had 5 people total. Blackcomb Peaks was also very helpful with the hiccups we encountered after a very long travel day. Thanks!

Very comfortable, although a little tight for six adults.

Good place
Reviewed on 2018-09-13 by AndrewI really like the location of the unit. The village is walking distance. The unit has everything you need and if it doesn’t, the market is right across the street. The water is nice and hot and the washing machine and dryer makes everything convenient. The only thing I had trouble and found very inconvenient was the WiFi. It didn’t work. Called the office for help but they said just to unplug it and wait and turn it back on. Didn’t work.

The kitchen was well equipped, livingroom comfortable and the bedrooms were roomy. It was also nice to have our own bathrooms off the bedrooms. We took advantage of using the hottub one day which was a nice perk. Parking was close and convenient. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay. This was our first Airbnb booking and happy to say it was a great experience! Love Whistler!

Perfect holidays
Reviewed on 2018-02-22 by LemmensComing over from Antwerp, Belgium, to enjoy skiing holidays with my daughter and her family who live in Seattle, we had a wonderfull time. The accomodation was perfect. The people were friendly, the slopes perfect, the weather fine, ski schools for my 6 year old grand daughter were excellent. Just one small remark : the bus nr 4 was most of the days 30 min late in the morning.

A Great Home-away-from-home Condo
Reviewed on 2017-12-03 by YvonneWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Valhalla 13. When the clouds lifted, there are spectacular views of the ski runs out the living room windows. This corner unit upper level condo was clean and the owner's decor is warm and inviting. It was a blessing to find a place that felt so home-away-from-home comfortable. We loved the gas fireplace. Having Netflix provided was great for our rather rainy girl's weekend. The kitchen was well stocked. Blackcomb Peaks responded almost instantly to a request for glassware and light bulbs and their staff was so prompt and friendly. This condo is less than a minute walk from the Marketplace - which includes a fully stocked IGA grocery (with prices comparable to home), government liquor store and McDonald's. (15 minute walk to the lifts. 5 minute walk to Gnarlyroots Pizza and Purebread Bakery.) We loved the layout of the living/dining/powder room on the second floor and the bedrooms/laundry on the third. Each bedroom is ensuite. We suggest a simple shower head upgrade (to an adjustable spray) for at least the second bathroom. The master ensuite has a deep tub/shower combo. If you arrive after dark, be aware that #13 is adjacent to the parking garage ramp on the 'back' side of the building (before you enter the main Valhalla cul-de-sac). There is a sidewalk to access all units on the back side of the building. It was easy to pull the car up and unload our luggage 20 steps or so along to the unit door - it was just initially hard to find it in the dark. The one let down was the tiny Valhalla hot tub. It is literally in the middle of the complex drive around, overlooked by many units. We gave it a pass. The free parking spot is easily accessed and secure. The wifi was great. We didn't hear noise from adjacent units (only a bit of foot traffic noise and car noise around check out/check in times). The unit is overlooked, but we never felt like we were in a fishbowl. We would definitely stay here again. Recommended for families with older children (due to stairs) and girl's weekends away.

It was a short walk to the Village. We found the shower in the main bedroom wasn't working, but the one in the second one worked fine. We used the washer and dryer which was excellent.
