The RBC Granfondo is a 122km road bike route that is an incredible opportunity for fitness and biking enthusiasts, as well as curious spectators. This is a classic and scenic ride on the Sea to Sky highway that starts in Vancouver and ends in Whistler. The Sea to Sky Highway is only open to cyclists on September 7th during 2019, so make sure to take advantage of this event if you’ve ever considered a long bike ride. The RBC Granfondo is open to cyclists of all abilities and represents a memorable opportunity to ride one of the most scenic roads in British Columbia! After the ride, bikers love to take advantage of all the food and festivities in Vancouver.
Whistler Presents: Outdoor Concert Series
Enjoy an outdoor concert at Whistler Olympic Plaza! After the RBC Granfondo is a concert featuring the Famous Players Band on September 7th at 1:45pm. Whistler Village Beer Festival
What goes together better than Whistler and Beer? Now that the hot summer temperatures are beginning to subside, it’s the perfect time of year to try a new brew at the famous Whistler Village Beer Festival. Instead of having just one day dedicated to beer, the Whistler beer festival lasts for an entire week and features over 140 beers and other beverages. The event will take place from September 9th - 15th and is held at the central Whistler Olympic Plaza.

Whistler Blackcomb Foundation’s TELUS Golf Classic
One of the best golf tournaments held at Whistler, the Telus Golf Classic represents one of the major fundraisers for the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation. The only thing better than playing golf is playing for a great cause! This golf tournament is about enjoying all that Whistler has to offer! In addition to golf, the tournament features tastings, additional activities, and a dinner at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler hotel. The Telus Golf Classic is held on September 13th at the Fairmont Chateau Golf Club House and begins at 10am.
