Following is a list of the policies and procedures that are in effect when you stay in our Whistler accommodations. All Blackcomb Peaks customers will receive full documentation prior to your stay with us - the list below is presented here to allow you to become familiar with our policies. If you have any questions about your lodging, please feel free to send us a note.

Booking and Cancellation Policy:

  • Reservation Deposit - 25% of the reservation total is due at the time of booking and the balance of 75% is due 30 days prior to arrival. We accept Visa and Mastercard. All prices are in CDN dollars.
  • Final Balance Payment - Balance is due, in full, 30 days prior to arrival.
  • Cancellation Policy - Cancellations of direct bookings more than 30 days prior to occupancy will forfeit 25% of the reservation total. Cancellations within 30 days of occupancy will forfeit the remainder of the total.

U.S. & International Guests - Blackcomb Peaks Accommodations has partnered with Red Sky Travel Insurance to provide travel insurance for our U.S. & International guests. Travel insurance reimburses for the non-refundable deposits and unplanned expenses incurred due to certain unforeseen circumstances. Travel insurance may be purchased up to the date of final payment. Travel insurance is non-refundable after the 14-day free look period for the policy. Travel insurance is optional, although highly recommended. 

Minimum Stay 

Our Whistler Blackcomb vacation rentals require a 2-5 night minimum stay (depending on the specific property or season).

Check-in Time: 4:00 PM (PST) 
Check-Out Time: 10:00 AM (PST) 

Minimum Age 

The person making the reservation must be a minimum of 25 years of age, hold a valid credit card and be staying in the unit. 

Blackcomb Peaks Accommodations recognizes its duties and responsibilities under the British Columbia Human Rights Code, as amended [Code]. Where applicable, nothing in these terms, conditions, and/or policies limits an individual’s ability to seek reasonable accommodation based on their protected characteristic(s) including, without limitation, age, in the provision of accommodation, service or facility offered by Blackcomb Peaks Accommodations. To the extent that there is any conflict between these terms, conditions, and/or policies and the Code, the Code shall prevail to the extent of the inconsistency. Damage Deposit 

A $500 - $2000 Damage Deposit will be pre-authorized on your credit card the day of arrival (amount dependent on size of unit) and released upon inspection of the unit on the day of departure.

Payment Procedures

We accept Visa and Mastercard. 

Reservation Deposit – 25% of reservation total is due at time of booking

Pets

Pets are allowed in some of our Whistler rentals with prior approval. Please inquire for specific units. Unapproved pets will result in a $300 fine.

Smoking - No Smoking 

Smoking is not allowed in any of our units. Any evidence of smoking will result in an automatic fine of $300 to pay for professional cleaning of the unit. 

Unruly Behaviour 

Please be aware that we reserve the right to evict any guest who is behaving in an unruly manner. 

We ask that you observe the Municipal bylaws (no amplified music or speech between the hours of 10:00 pm and 8:00 am) and rules for the common areas of the property and be considerate of other guests. Hot tubs are of particular concern, be aware that voices carry and can be disturbing to your neighbours.

Please Note: any fines levied by the strata for excessive noise during your stay will be passed on to you.

Liability 

We are excluded from liability for personal bodily injury in our home, while in transit to, or while on resort property.

Housekeeping 

This is a self housekeeping unit with no service provided during your stay (the unit will be cleaned at no cost when you depart.) Additional towels are located in the bathroom cabinet and extra cleaning service can be arranged for an additional fee. Please call for details 1-866-590-1613.

Parking 

Parking is available at all of our Whistler rentals.  Although many of our properties offer free parking, parking rules and fees vary by complex.  Details about parking can be found on our unit pages and are included within our welcome packages that are sent to all arriving guests. If you are unsure of any parking information please contact our team directly before parking your vehicle.

Check-in Information

A digital welcome package for your Whistler accommodation will be provided via email and SMS 3 days prior to your arrival. A majority of our units are self check-in, however, check-in steps vary between complexes. If your unit requires a door code for access, simply input your door code after 4PM to check-in.
