Everything You Need to Know About Painted Cliff in Whistler

Hello Blackcomb Peaks Friends!
Following the successful Guide to the Aspens Lodge, we are presenting another one, this time, about the Painted Cliff Complex.
This townhome complex is located just a few properties up the slope-side of the Blackcomb Mountain, which makes it another great ski in / ski out option.
As in the Aspens Lodge case, Painted Cliff homes are privately owned and professionally managed by various property management companies (including Blackcomb Peaks Accommodations). The major difference between these two are no front desk facilities at Painted Cliff, since this complex is not a lodge with common areas.
Painted Cliff Parking:
There is secure underground parking provided. Guests can park at the spot assigned to their unit. Visitor spots on both the inside and outside of the gate are on a first come, first serve basis.
Painted Cliff Units:
Currently we manage two and three bedroom homes at the Painted Cliff complex. To see the unit descriptions and photos, please go here. All units have stairs and are not easily accessed by physically challenged persons. In addition, all units differ in the way they are furnished since they are privately owned.
Amenities:
Some bathroom and kitchen amenities are provided as part of the arrival set up, but these are not replenished throughout the stay:
- Shampoo & Soap
- Toilet paper
- Tissue paper (Kleenex)
- Coffee filters
- Garbage bags
- Dishwasher powder / tablets
- Washing up liquid
- Paper towel
- Tea towel / Dish cloth
*Salt, pepper, coffee etc. are not provided.
Gear Storage
Skis and snowboards can be stored in the entryway of the unit and bikes on the patio. To prevent extra charges, guests are advised to prevent damages to the walls, carpet and unit furniture.
Fireplace
Most of the Painted Cliff units have a wood burning fireplace in the living room. The first fire log will be provided & additional logs can be purchased at any of the local grocery stores.
* Check full unit descriptions before booking to make sure there is a wood burning fire place.
Hot Tub
The common hot tub is accessed by a stairwell located next to unit #24. The common area key, found on the kitchen counter, will give guests access to the change rooms.
Hot tub hours: 8:00 am - 11:00 pm.
Laundry
Painted Cliff Units have private washers and dryers and laundry soap is provided and replenished if necessary.
Housekeeping
All homes are self cleaning units. Our guests can inquire and book housekeeping services (ex. towels service etc.) at our toll free.

** Fresh sheets and towels are provided as part of the arrival set up.
Access to Whistler Village Amenities
Painted Cliff is a true ski in / ski out complex and it takes only 30 seconds to ski down to the base of Wizard chair. The Whistler Kids lessons also take place in the same location (Magic chair is next to Wizard), which makes it very convenient for parents. Here are a few tips on where to dine near the Blackcomb base.

- Nesters Market - the cheapest and best quality grocery store - deliveries are possible
* Guests can walk to the main village stroll in about 15 minutes, crossing the beautiful Fitzsimmons Creek bridge.
Good to Know About Painted Cliff
- No pets
- No smoking
- Check in is at 4pm
- Check out is at 10am
- Guests can drop off their garbage in the communal shed located to the right of the complex exit.
