This world-famous festival celebrates the heart and soul of gravity-fuelled mountain biking. The best riders and biggest bike fans in the world come out for a week of gravity-fuelled racing, slopestyle competitions, Kidsworx, bike demos and the chance to shred Whistler’s trails with other like-minded bike fans.

Every day of this Whistler festival is packed with events, races and demonstrations, many of them free to watch. Learn about the events and view the full schedule below to see what’s on each day. WHERE TO WATCH THE EVENTS?

Lower Whistler Mountain Events (viewing from Skier’s Plaza):

CLIF Bar Dual Speed & Style, GIANT Dual Slalom, Red Bull Joyride Located at the bottom of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park. Spectators have the option to view these competitions from Skier’s Plaza or to hike up the hill to watch from behind the fences or tape

Whistler Mountain Bike Park Events:

Canadian Open Enduro presented by Specialized, Garbanzo Downhill, Fox Air Downhill, Official Whip-Off World Championships Spectators on bikes with a lift ticket can catch some of the action by riding down adjacent trails to these races. Locations and courses can be found on Crankworx.com. Spectators without a bike can watch the finish of these races in Skier’s Plaza, or take the Whistler Gondola to midstation with a lift ticket and walk down marked pedestrian trails. 

Whistler Olympic Plaza Events:

Dirt Diaries Film Contest, Deep Summer Photo Contest, Red Bull Women in Action Sports Panel Spectators can view these events for free at Whistler Olympic Plaza or purchase VIP tickets online to have front row seating and access to a bar service.
